Get ready for a back-to-school celebration like no other! The 6th Annual Back to School Festival of Knowledge is more than just backpacks and school supplies – it’s a high-energy, fun-filled day where learning meets laughter and community comes together to uplift our youth.

What to Expect:
FREE Giveaways – Backpacks, school supplies, uniforms (limited availability), and more.

Carnival Games & Prizes – From ring toss to brain teasers, kids can win prizes and test their skills in our Smarty Pants Tent!
Live Entertainment – Enjoy performances, dancing, and interactive shows that keep the whole family on their feet.
Knowledge Scavenger Hunt – Explore our activation zones, vote in mock elections, test your spelling, and join our 30-minute dance breaks!

Healthy Snacks & Hydration Stations – Stay refreshed and ready to learn.
Community Resources – Meet local organizations offering youth programs, voter registration, health services, and family support.
Volunteer & Vendor Zones – Connect, give back, and celebrate the power of community.

Pre-registration is highly encouraged to ensure your child receives a backpack and supply kit. Walk-ups welcome while supplies last.

Be a Back-to-School Volunteer!!!

What Will Volunteers Do?

As a volunteer at the Carnival of Knowledge, you’ll play a vital role in bringing joy, resources, and support to families preparing for the school year. Volunteers will help with:

Welcoming & Check-In: Greet families, guide them through registration, and answer questions.
School Supply Distribution: Hand out backpacks, uniforms, and school supplies to students.
Carnival Booths & Games: Help run games, Smarty Pants Tent activities, and interactive stations.
Set-Up & Clean-Up: Assist with early morning setup or help break down and tidy up after the event.
Floaters & Support Staff: Be ready to jump in where needed hydration stations, voter registration, line management, and more!
Volunteer Tent Support: Check in other volunteers and coordinate shift changes.
Dancing Break Captains (every 30 mins!) Get the crowd moving and grooving!
